Weird egg

I had a first this morning. I was cooking eggs for breakfast and when I cracked a normal looking egg in the skillet it had no yolk. I have been around chickens and eggs all my life and I know the small eggs that I call a fart egg is usually just white but this was a full size dark brown egg. Has anyone else ever had an egg like that???
