Okay, so my family and I just recently got 4 baby chicks. About 4 days ago we noticed our barred plymouth rock wasn't standing, an we legs kind of came out to the side.We began giving them all Pirina smart and grow chick feed and made sure they all gy a lot of vitamin D and C because we believe it may be rickets. Just in case it was spraddled les, we also made a pipe cleaner hobble brace for her. After four days, age can stand now, is a bit more lively, but her legs still come out at strange angles. She's about 2 and a half weeks old. We checked her for pasting up, and feed and give her water by hand to make sure the others don't bully her into not being able to eat. anything more I can do for my baby girl? ( pictures will come later )

What were they getting before you gave them chick feed? It could be nutritional.

I would give the chick 2-3 drops of Poly-Visol (or generic) children's vitamins - the kind WITHOUT IRON - 2 times a day for 2 days to see if that helps.

By "made sure they all get a lot of vitamin D and C" what exactly do you mean?

It doesn't really look like what we've seen in photos, but may be.

@Wynette
My neighbor ground up some recipe he got from a lady with seaweed, organic corn feed and other grains. As we gave the vitamins be feeding them some milk and kelp for a bit, bringing them into the sun (it was really warm), and giving her a few drops of liquid vitamin D.

Thank you both.
