Weird lump on chest of RIR 1yo hen

It's not noticeable unless you pick her up. Then I could feel this lump like 1/2 of an orange on her chest. Is this a benign thing? She acts normal, always following me around and jabbering.

I can't figure how to turn the dumb photo. I loaded it upright.

Is it her crop or something else? Is it solid?

It feels firm and round like someone has stuck a 1/2 an orange under her skin. Idk what the crop feels like.

Most likely a full crop. Chickens like to full their crop up before they go too sleep. This helps keep them warm overnight. As long as she doesn't seem sick, I wouldn't worry about it. Check her crop in the morning. If it's full then, that's something to worry about.
