Weird mass in egg

WHAT IS THIS??? There was also a normal yolk inside the egg, which seemed totally normal. The egg was larger than her average eggs. I've never seen anything like this and we've had her for 5 years. Included the shell in the picture for size reference. It was pretty big.

Can you cut it open? It may be a lash egg.
