afterthought .... it just looked at me like "EH?" HA HA HA! Gotta love that sideways, cock the head, give ya that look like what-in-the-world-ARE-you look that only a chicken can give ya!

Lets see..what else? Oh yeah.. hubby freaks out on Sunday mornings when I fix cream of wheat and put extra in the pot for the girls (hey.. its cold out there!) or... for thanksgiving they too had a complete thanksgiving meal! LOL (but so did my cat, whats fair for one is fair for the other you know!)

The best one is if they even HEAR the front door "click" - they are all at their gate of their pen (which is quite a distance away from the house mind you) boy do chickens have good hearing! They expect a treat - they see someone step out onto the porch and thats all she wrote - they're cat-a-wallin' away just waiting for someone to bring them goodies

Well, my family thinks most things I do with my chickens are wierd...I was carrying my cornish around while doing housework (She's been really needy since her BFF was eaten by a hawk in front of us!), and went in the bedroom and saw Dh laying down taking a nap, so Petunia and I laid down, too! He rolled over and she screamed, and he sat straight up in bed and came unglued! LOL!

I have also had people over for dinner, and laid Petunia on her back on a turkey platter and brought her over to them.

My chickens get up on our porch and eat the cat food...

I also apologize to the chicken I tripped over, but that is just second nature to me anyway.
