It kind of looks like a lash egg. Was it solid? It can be any size and shape.

No, not solid. I cut into it easily and it was clear gel inside. The egg was perfectly normal other than this little thing. It's about half an inch across.

Don't know. Never had anything like that. I have had some pretty odd eggs over the years but not one like that, at least not yet.

Fairly common...usually a glitch.....called a fairy egg, wind egg, fart egg, rooster egg.....

Probably just a 'spray booth' glitch.

Yesterday while cleaning the coop and run, changing water, freshening feed, collecting eggs, etc I found this really tiny egg (it's definitely from one of mine). I took a pic for size comparison next to one of my other girls' eggs. Then my son's home support worker cracked it open so I could take pics. It was complete with the tiniest yolk and whites.
