She is doing well but every so often I starve her for a day - only water and Maas for the day just to keep her from giving me problems.

She was sedated for the surgery.

Do the patches rub off with the touch? I had some like that, but I could rub it off, or lightly scrape off? I have had a few eggs that way as well. I just snuck crushed oyster shells in there food(they don't like oyster shells), after i put some shells in there food, I haven't seen any more like it. weird.

Lol, no I don't:) , I'm new to having hens, and it seems like everything that can go wrong has! She was having trouble passing the eggs, I'm not sure why, except they were super fat eggs! Then that came out! Thankful it didn't break in her, or get stuck,
I cracked it open , and it was a normal egg! Just weird I tell ya!

Can anybody please tell me what happened to these eggs? I have never seen anyhting like it. I cracked it open , and it was normal with a yolk and white. I have no roosters, just 3 hens.

Looks like an oops, it happens on young layers. I wouldn't worry unless it happens frequently. The shell may not have closed off like it should have closed.

Here is a shell less egg I got about a month ago from my silver ameruacana. What you are seeing is the membrane on the inside of the shell after sitting overnight (some internal evaporation that caused the wrinkle) it was a perfect egg, simply didn't have a shell.
