Weird paper like shelled egg?

There was a cracked egg in the nesting box today so I figured it was just sat on wrong or whatever, but I looked and not only was there no yolk, but the shell wasn't hard at all. It was paper-like/easily bendable. Not at all like a regular shell. Any ideas why? It's only that one so far.

I get eggs like that every once in a while, but it's never been a serious issue. You can add a supply of oyster shells to your coop which will help harden the shells. However if this is your only egg like this, I wouldn't worry. See what happens and go from there...
