Weird poop: looks like cysts? (Picture included)

Update: I have two injections to give her (Julie); Baytril is the antibiotic, and I give her one today (subcutaneous) and another in 3 days.

Little did I know you can get an Avian Vet online... great, as there are none near me.

Thoughts?

Hen is better. Poop is more normal, and she is eating fairly well.

Keeping her (and her buddy) warm, and quiet. They are doing a lot of resting and sleeping...I think that's what I would be doing if I were recovering.

Not out of the woods, but improving.

Thank you very much, everyone, for your kind words and support. I think that is what did the trick! :)

Tell us about your experience with the online Vet? How did you get the antibiotics?

WONDERFUL experience.

I found her online after a google search. Total cost: $29. She sent me an email with questions, too many to answer, so she called me. She is a chicken vet...and she has her own chickens. She was wonderful.

I was lucky as she spoke to my horse vet, who very kindly helped with the prescription. They happened to have some in stock (!) and gave me two doses, which is what the Chicken Doc ordered.

Could she have ordered through Allivet or Valley Vet? I don't know, I didn't ask.

The bottom line is the job got done, pleasantly and inexpensively.

What is the website/company called? I don't have an avian vet either and this would be super great.
