Weird poop

Pepper isn't a cure all, but it can give added nutrition to feed that is lacking sufficient nutrients.
Garlic is good for the immune system, & intestines, but can cause reduced iron levels in the blood if used long term.

Good sources of protien include: Yogurt, canned cat food, canned dog food, eggs, steamed broccoli, canned tuna fish, & cooked meat peices.

Most times bright yellow poop like that is from E.coli bacterial infection, but in older hens, it can be from egg matter or reproductive infection which may be caused by E.coli. The sulfa antibiotics can treat E.coli and some other bacteria. Do you have any pictures of Albert (or Alberta?) Chickens can make good pets.

If it is coccidiosis it may well work if that is what you can get, but the bright yellow in the poop is concerning. I would treat her with amprollium, but if you don’t see improvement after a couple of days, I would look for the sulfa antibiotic.

Did you think the little bits in the poop were seeds or feed particles?
can you find the sulfabased antibiotics in drug stores? or they are only found in pet stores? And how do you use them?

Since you are in Bangladesh, I would check with both pharmacy and pet store. Many times we have to get antibiotics from a veterinarian. Sulfadimethoxine is very good, but you may find some of the others I mentioned earlier in post 14, more available in your area. Can your parents check around for you? Human physicians prescribe Bactrim and that also can be used. It is a combination of sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim, and used commonly in people. Did you try to find amprollium first?
