Weird stuff on eggs?

Occasionally I have found these sandy-looking deposits on some of my eggs. I worried they might be some kind of parasite/bug egg, but they scrape off very easily and feel hard. I'm very new to chickens (going on my second week now) and have no idea if I should be alarmed by this. I've only seen them 2-3 times out of all the eggs I've collected from our 7 chickens the past couple weeks.

Those are just excess calcium deposits. It can be a symptom of reproductive disorders, if ongoing, but it's usually just a hiccough in the system. I wouldn't be at all concerned.
