Our 10month old Sumatra roo ONLY breeds with my Muscovy hens(who squat for him). He ignores all of our chicken hens including our Sumatra hen. He is the head roo around the hen house too, the other roos take off when he walks by.
Please help me understand this behaviour, I could understand if he was sexually deprived but he has his choice of all the chicken hens...
I just think its strange. I have never once seen him breed with a chicken.
