i have a mixed pullet and so when i was going to open them up and feed them i saw olive in the nesting box but a hen already laid in there olive pushed the egg aside and made herself comfy why did she push the egg away??? and how close is she to laying?

Yes. They might even move the fake eggs/golf balls around.

One of my Ladies kept putting multiple golf balls into her floor nest to keep her egg company when she was a new layer.
