They are O D D , not unexpected --- I breeded them to be that way

A totally weird thing here is "why was I getting 'wild' colors from my black, blue, splash Ameraucana pen".
The other great surprise are the nearly comb-less / wattle-less birds from a cross. I would have expected a modified pea-type or middle-of-the-road type comb.
But these just have a flat place where a comb would be.
