I laughed because I am mean like that. (Joking, LOL.)He’s trying so hard. I don’t know whether to say awww or laugh. What a sweetheart.
It is hidden, but under a tarp would probably be so hot and humid in the heated parts of the day! He's very sweet but quite clueless of of what a hen wants in a nesting spot xD
Ruby does the same thing! She pecks on the backs of my dogs to get whatever she can find!My chicken star is good a making friends but enjoys trying to eat them just as they get comfortable. Here she is walking away all proud after pecking my poor little puppers in the eyeball. She also appeared to enjoy trying deer nose.View attachment 3930114View attachment 3930115
I was out with my flock one late afternoon and Roger, my 1 year old roo, very randomly leaped forward into the air with his wings open and his feet out as if he was pouncing on something, but just landed on a young star thistle bush, then casually walked away like nothing happened.it was like he just had a moment where he had to show off his attack skills or something. It was quite impressive! Take that, ya damn thistle!
