Weirdness

This was a first. Opened up two eggs and found this stringy white thing. Chalaza??? Any ideas? New laying hen.

when you first said white stringy things I thought it was "Chalazae" which is normal. But that is right next to the thing

You should get your chickens treated bcs they must be heavily infested if there are worms in the eggs.

I don't see any segments if this is a worm, and they are only about 7 months old so I don't know how they could be that heavily infested???

Idk what that is, but I don’t think they are worms. Very strange.

Not sure if it's a worm but not sure what it is either. Did you fish it out and try "dissecting" it?
