I just fed the animals... it’s almost 5:30. Late day! Oops. My cream legbar cockerel would NOT get off of the waterer. I refilled it 3 times just for him to jump on top of it and cause it to spill. So I just put a bowl of water in there instead. Idk what in the world made him do that.

I put the chicken chicks in the outdoor brooder. I’ll check on them in a few hours to make sure the temp is staying up.

Cats are barfing up cat food AGAIN. So I guess I’ll have to change back to Special Kitty cat food.

No eggs... because of the cats. I turned around for 1 second and the cats had already knocked off the eggs. Argh.

Hay Hay is already one of my flock favorites. He is a well behaved gentlemen who is friendly I’m asking a friend of mine who has OEGBs to save me a few eggs to set. Hopefully I can get him a girlfriend. If not, oh well I’ll try again later.

Oh yeah. I finally got crickets. The limit is technically 25... But would you believe they let me have 100??? Also the black stuff is dried flies... its old gecko food that they don’t eat. So I’m letting the crickets have it.

Awesome! Thanks! He actually lives alone right now. Which is why I try to spend a good bit of time with him. I thought about letting him have one of my cream legbar girls as a friend.

The little chicken chicks seem fine. I’m a little worried since it’s their first time being in the outdoor brooder.
