They have turned the power off all over the back country because of the winds and the fires. To mitiagate power lines form causing more fires.

We are a land of canyons... when the winds get started they funnel into the canyons and get concentrated... Like shoving water through a small hose...

Thanks to you and Kathy, she is definitely on the mend. She just flew from the back of my chair, over to the stove where i have some food and water for her.
