Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

We have one more goat that needs to be bred. I mentioned to the boys that I thought it was a bit odd to be doing this with them...I was wondering just what I was teaching them.

The youngest, age 9 pipes up "you are teaching us that it is good for a girl to have sex with her father" :barnie

the next goat that needs to be bred is Mozzie, Mozzie is half dwarf so needs to be bred to a small buck, and the only small buck I know of within a 3 hour drive....is her dad.

That is so wrong, but I just laughed SO freaking hard! :lau:gig:lau

Well. . I didn't have to pull down my britches. . I remember getting it more in the summer time when I wore shorts and I always tried to run or squirm out of it and ended up getting it on the bare legs or arms lol. I just think parents need to do what works for the individual child. . for some you could beat them half to death and it wouldn't change a thing or even make them worse.
Yet haven't been making slow motion videos have you :lau:gig

Ouch! I hated that! I was definitely that kinda "Didn't hurt" kid, even tho it did.
HAHAHA! You beat me to the slo mo vids. :highfive:

Good luck! I sew, so if there's anything i could help out with, just holler!

I wish you could have done them for me. It seemed like such a good idea at the time.:he A couple of them are just embarrassing, but its too late now, they fly out in a few hours.

Hi deb! :frow I'm here. Its raged thru north Vista. I'm on the south side & keeping my fingers crossed the winds don't switch & that nothing sparks in San Marcos. :fl What a beast, but so far we're ok. Here it is from my deck when it first started. Its a bad day for horses. :hit Thank you for thinking of me. It means a lot!!! :hugs

Oh whew... I been in San Diego fifty years now and seen seven Big Fire storms....

get a ditty bag packed if you can just to be safe... documents and photos.... have crates ready for The critters too if you can.

I know about the horses... So Sad... One trainer tried to get his mare out of a burning stable but she was too frightened... she burned right before his eyes..... Out of 400 horses so far only fifteen or twenty burned at San Louis Rey... They were packing four horse trailers with five.... just to get them out. Thank goodness Thoroughbreds are Used to being hauled all over the place...

Last big fire the fire would travel down under ground following the root system....

But they say this is the Driest one yet.... 6 percent humidity... even now my son has a face mask on to keep his personal air more humid. and we dont have any smoke here.

(I haven't finished shopping yet either, but it's still early for me, I'm always last minute hahaha)

Charlene and deb, sure hope you guys stay safe. I feel so horrible for all those losing everything, and all those animals! just heartbreaking.

Chris and Ravyn are rivaling Kathy on the "odd finds" category. :p

Good morning Pond. :hugs
