Good morning!
Finally, we are going to go get a Christmas tree! Long story short - dh got a free one and brought it home.. it looked like a shrub. I sent it outside. We are going to get a different one.

If I'm not mistaken, he's in Florida; perhaps the 1st snow he's ever seen. The Snow Emergency Plan's probably in effect

I'm pretty sure the drivers around here are hitting the panic button about now. They'll empty the grocery shelves of milk & toilet paper, buy expensive generators, and buy all snow shovels in sight. It's actually hilarious! They get in their yuppie vehicles & head for the nearest ditch, to make sure they get a good spot. You'd swear they'd never seen snow before; have not the foggiest clue of how to drive in it. They're either crawling along at the rate of 2 miles/every 3 weeks, or trying to beat the land speed record.

I actually slid through a stop light last night..... Hot a patch of black ice..... Dang Antilock brakes activated......

You know me, don't you. I'm going to make a big pot of beef paprikas. Between that and tree decorating the day will fly by. Of course I'll have to spend a bit of time as Pond Uncle.

I plan to install an outdoor outlet next to the slider door we installed..... That way there will be electricity on the deck we are building next summer.
I figure for now I'll plug in an extra heated water dish I have so the ducks won't have to go inside to get a drink during the day time.
