I think Firestone Winter Force tires are about as good as they get for snow..... Problem is they wear fast on concrete so I will save these tires for summer driving......a lot of people here have winter tires.....

I am fond of Nokkia. But right now I have Goodrich All terrain tires and they are good. Not as nice as my studded Nokkia, but still pretty good.

I was thinking of keeping the all terrain on the car all year this year...but I need to drive to Anchorage a few times this winter...so I guess I will swap out.

Black ice is the worst...... Claims a lot of lives every year.

Yep, be careful... Shade never saw black ice before, I warned him, couple years ago he hit some and totaled his car drivers side door right into a tree... he luckily walked away from that thanks to Impala air bags... but he is a lot more careful now...

His fave tires are Nitto, lol...
