Not regularly.wow.... not supposed to in your neck of the woods... right?
Mobile home park burned down pretty much... owners werent allowed back in because they were still stamping down spot fires... a reporter was headed in and they asked if he could do them a favor. They wanted to see how their home faired but they were most worried about big red.
So the shots were of ember crews hosing down the foundation... an Old car he had just finished restoring mostly in puddles of glass and metal... The couple hugged each other... She burst into tears when she saw the garden had survived...
The next shot was of Chicken feet.... Big Red had survived and he burst into tears.... The coop was next too the garden.
Big Red was what looked like an Easter egger... HUGE girl standing in her coop with her water next to her.... All she had was red swollen eyes ....

I actually slid through a stop light last night..... Hot a patch of black ice..... Dang Antilock brakes activated......
News story I am still looking for the article....WOW!! Was that posted on here, or a news story? Amazing.
Same difference; one's as bad as the other for no snow. He's in Georgia I think?
Good morning!
Finally, we are going to go get a Christmas tree! Long story short - dh got a free one and brought it home.. it looked like a shrub. I sent it outside. We are going to get a different one.
It snowed.
Do us bad people get a good morning too?![]()
It's snowing. Should I be happy ? Because I'm not.
DW & I cut our own at a tree farm for years, but for some reason she's going to the Boy Scout lot these days
When we mover here in '73, we bought a live pine. When Christmas was over, I put it into the cool basement 'til the ground thawed enough to get a shovel in the ground...along about April! Never did anything when I planted it except give it a good drink. It's has to be a good 60' tall now!
That's as bad as when I brought the Science class's mice home for the summer, & housed them in one of my sisters' old wooden doll houses. Dad wasn't a happy camper when he found technicolor mice all over the house!
I know of one worse. A friend brought a white faced hornets nest into the house. When they warmed up --------------------
So after Christmas Phil's gonna be buying some Firestone Winter Force tires for his truck........

My son's a trucker; has been for 20+ years. Several years back, in WI, he lost his rig on black ice. He was fine, but the tractor was totaled when it jacked into the front corner of the trailer.

Black ice is the worst...... Claims a lot of lives every year.My son's a trucker; has been for 20+ years. Several years back, in WI, he lost his rig on black ice. He was fine, but the tractor was totaled when it jacked into the front corner of the trailer.

I think Firestone Winter Force tires are about as good as they get for snow..... Problem is they wear fast on concrete so I will save these tires for summer driving......a lot of people here have winter tires.....We decided. ..for well, dunno really why in the world we did. but...we did decide. ... to grab the artificial tree we bought TWENTY YEARS AGO, and last used NINETEEN years ago, and use it this year. We found only the bottom 2 layers of branches. Kid #2 suggested we be "culturally sensitive" flip the tree upside-down, call it a palm tree, and say we are trying to respect Hawaiian culture.
Spouse said no. Even when the kids pointed out that then the work would be almost done..way fewer ornaments etc. AND more space for presants.
Only bad people here.scum, muck, and slime wads
be miserable and grumpy. fulfill the grumpy old man stereotype.
crazy! never would have thought that would have worked.
My kids went through a phase of finding "cute mice"feeding them, fattening them up, and then letting them escape their cages into the house!
After I said death would occur to small children if mice were ever kept in my house again...they moved on to slugs. yeah, slugs. Those escaped too...but not such a big deal.
you just made my kids look like saints!
oooooooh! tires!!!!
woman! tear jerker there!
dang! so glad he was OK. very scary.
had a cousin, a trucker, his rig burnt up. He was in the hospital for I think 6 months. Bad stuff.
