Our 2 week rifle season closed today. I never saw one in the clear that I was interested in taking. Muzzleloader starts again in 2 weeks; maybe my luck will change. At least I have 1 in the freezer already.

Speaking of cool ones, have you seen a Colt Anaconda 44magnum in camo? Our neighbor has one. 2 grand! Only 1200 made, or some chit. It is one badazz lookin pistol!

We aren't unlimited, but between hubby and myself, we could get legally way more than we would ever need.

Got a bit more meat than I figured I would. Can't say if we've eaten any of it yet; still had a little left from year before last. Found another processor who's cheaper; $75. For that money, it's hardly worth going through the hassle on the d.r. table (says the guy who just bought his DW a new Food Saver for Christmas)

Most I've ever taken in one year is 3. We don't need any more for just the two of us; 2 would be just about right. The 3rd would be insurance in case I don't get any one year, like last year.

I haven’t seen one of those. I’ll have to look them up! I actually don’t have many pistols. One shotgun and a few rifles is all I’ve got so far.

Haha. This year isn’t the year for me to grumble too much, because I’ve got two cow elk tags. But for deer, they are buck only tags and you have to draw them. And they are a 10 day season. But that would be awesome.

I made duck jerky recently. I’d be happy to shoot 2-3 does a year.

I saw this on TV and changed the channel quickly... I am glad you showed it here without the Silly ARS comments from the news teams.

Knowing some about the care these horses get the love showered on them by the grooms its heart wrending.... And amazing that they fall back to their inherent nature as herd animails. Many of them are stallions as well. I heard that some competed in the breeders cup.

I saw some stills of one mare that had had track bandages on that were MELTED on to her legs....

So far 45 were killed or lost and unaccounted for... Those racing shoes are useless on concrete.... All aluminum... I just cant think about the possiblities...
