Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

He's a 'short' futurity. Born 3 months later, and he would be a this year derby. He will be 2 years old later in March.

As others have indicated, It's beagles. I've had them even longer than I've 'had' the Princess.
Awesome! So glad you are having some nice successes with them!

Ya that's just it. I'm kinda burned out really. Not too happy there anymore. . . but I'm too afraid of leaving there and then regretting it.
I love the kids but the job is a lot harder than you would think. And every year they want me to do more work for the same pay. :barnie
Have you scouted around to see what's available? Can't hurt to look..:hugs

If I've already asked you this, please forgive me, but have you ever had/heard of the Three Rivers line?

I have to start serving "second chance" breakfast in a couple weeks. So I already have two choices on the menu daily, Tuesdays and Thursdays there are 3 choices because I make fruit smoothies as a choice. Now I will have another choice every day that I gotta load up on a cart and drag down the hall at 9 am to let the kids get it between classes. Breakfast is normally over and done by 9. . . and lunch starts at 11:30.
I don't have help until 9:15. It's a rat race as it is! And there are 3 choices for lunch! We are a small school but it's still hard to get lunch out in only 2 and a half hours between breakfast and lunch!

As Lisa said, it doesn't hurt to look. Also worth mentioning is the fact that unemployment is so low right now. This works in favor of the job seeker. There are more free training programs available (take a peek at MO's job service website) and companies are more accepting of folks with a bit less experience in the position they're trying to fill.

Nothing in town really besides the t shirt factory and that place is hell to work in.
Closest places I could work are at least 30 minute drive. .that's wouldn't be bad at all if it paid good. But most of those are just going to be minimum wage jobs. So I just keep sucking it up lol! I'm lucky to even have a job with insurance really.

No, I have not. The sport is divided into at least 4 factions so they are most likely in a competition that I do not take part in.
The line has perhaps died out by now. My favorite uncle trialed some of the line in western KY back in the 50's & 60's
