*SPOILER ALERT!* This post will be all about bragging on my DH. Go ahead and skip it if you want.
So, today I went out to clean the chicken coop. I asked DH to drive the skid loader up to the door so I can pitch right into the bucket (I have poor depth perception and may have run into said door with the ski loader once or twice). So, I had just gotten started when DH came and cleaned the thing out for me in less than half an hour. At the rate I was going, it would have taken me a LOT longer than that. When he was done, I went to the shop to get a broom to finish up the detail cleaning. He said, "Come here and see what I wrote down just before you came out here." On his note pad, he had written, "Clean Coop".

After he cleaned the chicken coop for me, he built me the first of two MHP frames for the chicks that are coming on the 18th. He's quite skeptical about it, but made it for me anyway. He's a keeper...

:love Give him something special tonight. ;)

I will. I might actually cook supper tonight! :lau

And now my Tramadol has kicked in (those 2 hours outside were the most activity I have had since before surgery) so it's time to move on and get something else done. It's amazing how energetic I feel with the bright sun shining in my windows!

Test package from Laurel Meadows. :p
I thought you got rid of the Ohikis

Nope, still have Ohiki and the bantam Orps... I just sold off all the black pullets I had last year in a 'need to downsize and someone was ticking me off' type thing... that has of course come back to bite me in said @$$... :hmm

:highfive: go goose eggs!
When are they due to hatch?

4-20 to 4-24 ish...

Oh I love these types of stories! Well done, man, well done!!
I have had quite a bit of help today as well. All three "boys" helped me get the coop upright and new legs underneath - then they chicken wired a temporary holding pen and helped distribute some nice grass hay to the coops.
Side-by-side hard work = my love language :)
