I had a bad feeling about this hatch, lost the last 2 batches to heat spikes! If even one more hatches i will be thrilled!

Beautiful chickens, ice cream, and good friends? My side hurts just thinking of all the laughing we would do together.

Chickens, ice cream AND getting to hang out with you all? That's it - I'm skipping school and packing for a trip today! Although it may be a short trip since Granddaughter #2 is due to make her grand entry any day now. Due date is not until the 6th, but Grandma's getting anxious...

Good morning, Pondstirs. WV/VW next time you skinny dip, please don't use my lily pad - it was wet this morning. I'm not complaining, but what happened to spring ? It's instant summer here. May have to put the AC on today. Princess doesn't do 'hot' well - Perhaps I need to rephrase that.

Most of the heat spikes were in the Little Giant, but i had some in the home made bator until i changed the heat source. This is my third batch of guineas that i have had problems with. Hoping the batches i have incubating now will do better.

I hear you Sour, we were up to 88° yesterday! My workshop was an oven! If this is Spring, i fear Summer will be unbearable!

Finally got around to taking my friend a get well gift. She stopped by Saturday she had come to town wanting some flowers at the greenhouse but they were closed. I know she likes having flower baskets on her porch and she likes the rustic stuff like I do. . so made this arrangement for her View attachment 1371668

Going to be warm again tomorrow, I think I'll have to do some Pond skinny dipping.
