The swap went well today - I sold my extra white Call drake like I needed to, I resisted buying turkey poults, and there were some cute Nubian kids there that I got to play with.

I've also got my ko shamo pullet pretty much all cage trained for the show next Saturday. She poses nice when people walk over to the cage and she doesn't even flinch if you bang a stick down the front, so she should be all set.

My WH drake is good to go too. He just chills out as soon as you put him in a cage so I wasn't really worried about him.

They were so funny with the dog.. the dog would lay his head down and the geese would go over and nibble a nose then run to me peepeing as soon as the dog lifted his head.. the dog just kept doing it over and over..

And I also think I'm gonna need to cull one of these brahma chicks The others are all up and active and running around. This one just lays there crying and doesn't seem to have use of one of its legs. Not slipped tendon. Not sure what it is.

hate the chick culling. But yes...I know that what you allow you perpetuate. Who wants a flock of cross beaked pendulous cropped high need chickens? Obviously. .. lots of people I guess.

I have a quail i need to cull and clean, he is big enough to eat already!

Ah ha! Lol. Haven't ever been to a goat sale. I'm afraid I would come home with one. That's all I need in town with my duck farm I got going on already!

I used to go to livestock auctions but its too easy to bring disease home.

I got 6 turkey poults from one seller and 4 from another. The second seller was someone i know, a heat lamp fell on one and he said he would replace it if it dies. Why do people use those stupid useless clamps?
Oh and i bought 30 turkey eggs....
