Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Yuck.. im sorry :hugs

I hope the cargiver works out for ya, that'll help a lot..:fl
Hows the jewelry coming along? :pop
Will the cargiver be able to drive her at somepoint?:fl
Yes but the mother hen in me wanted to be there the first time... Lovely girl... Kind of a chatter box but this is good.

Oh am back home now I can cut and paste.... Havent figured out how to do that on the phone.... I know it can.... but I use it so seldom.

Son LOVES his new job... wont admit how much.... LOL... typical him...

I went through "A place for Mom" which is a serivce that finds you a good local match.... they have to pass the qualifications....

We hired the first one because Grandma liked them..... So in like two days she went from being mad to all on board.... Helped to make it her idea. This will help to shoehorn her into an assisted living facility if and when we need to.

A real relief for sure for me...

I'm confused, like I've lost a piece of a puzzle.
Would that be Midway Island, in the Pacific?
Perhaps Midway Airport, on the south side of Chicago?
Or maybe he's at the local carnival. :lau
LOL... He got a Job on the Midway Aircraft Carrier... Which is a museum now at the Embarcadaro in San Diego....

Hey, Hey, Hey! That's pretty slick, especially if he has an interest in WWII
LOL.... Loves History of all kinds.... and is rapidly infusing with as much info as he can find.

The Museum is ramping up from one million visitors per year to ONe and a half million per year. So they doubled their paid staff. Went from Twenty to Forty.... All the docents are Volunteers. The staff supports the docents...

Vyxin almost laid down .... so far he is just staying close and watching them...:fl

In another lifetime, a young Sour had a human imprinted gander called Gus the Goose. When he was 3 or 4 years old I purchased a half dozen goslings, and Gus was immediately interested. Within two days he had adopted and was defending them, and I was no longer his primary 'love'. Geese in my experience have been exceptional parents.

That's good to know Sour, thanks. I plan to have them spend as much time as possible with him over the next week and hopefully he will be like Gus and take over once i can put them outside. Im hesitant just yet since they still run under me to hide...:lau
Im afraid they wont stay with him yet but...

My multi-quote is still not available. Orr, I'm sorry your mom is still not well & I'm sorry you've got to drop everything & go out there. :hugs I hope they can figure out whats wrong & get her on a path to recovery. :fl:fl:fl
Thanks Room... She went in for acute pain (GI related), had a couple heart incidents, and apparently has a drug resistant infection. They want to operate on the GI thing, but can't while she's throwing all kinds irregular rhythms and has this infection. Brother said they wear haz-mat gear when they enter her room. Great. She's 85 and has a lot of issues.
