If the job gets approved we will definitely be jumping at moving to West Virginia I love it there a lot of my fathers family and then my grandfather had family there as well no clue if any of them are still around..my mans old boss took a new job at the university there and they don’t have the position Terry has which is Athletics Director Manager but he is putting in a bid to get the job approved which can take months but if approved we’re going..also part of why not purchasing a home and have to keep my flock minimal for now anywaysbut I am getting two more ducks and have yet to get my chickens I’m thinking mid July about 10 of em Terry that’s my man is terrified I’m gonna have 100 birds trying to take them to WV with me funny thing is I wouldbut really 100 birds isn’t in my plans haha or is it??

Gi issues energy issues loosing weight. Making jewelry. Hired a part time caregiver for grandma. Am at the hospital right now. Eeg for grandma first day for caregiver. I'm back to driver.

Hey, use every opportunity to make friends with the kids.... Then teach them about your ducks, etc. How to be nice to them, never hurt ducks... etc.

And warn them if they ever touch one, you have crazy friends that will come and whoop their butts.

WV, that is some sound advice right there! Kids yearn for rules & for adults to treat them like they're human beings instead of beasts. If their parents give them no rules & they hear the other f-bomb lady screaming all day, maybe you will get respected for being 'the nice one that doesn't tolerate their chit.' They might respect your boundaries better if you talk to them, & they might fear the 'crazy duck lady voice' more if you only pull it out when you're trying to scare the crap outta them.

Of course this might not work for these particular kids, but its worth a shot while the situation is still kinda new. You can always revert back to full time crazy duck lady if it doesn't.

Over the years I've had a variety of weird neighbors that I was SURE were going to poison my dogs, eat my chickens, accidentally blow my house up, & even one weirdo who had the nerve to point at the windows & ask which room my kids slept in. Neighbors can be SO stressful & I'm sorry you're going thru this.
