Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Definitely have some ground to cover...all I gotta do is yell duck duck duck and they run figuring I’m handing out goodie..but their also not old enough to set nests yet either so I’m sure my time will come..where are you located? I see the mountains in your username and wondered if ur in the mountains
They usually come when i call them but these 3 didnt show.. and if they're setting they wont come out..:hmm

Yes, we are in a bowl shaped spot on top of a mountain. The creek in my avatar is on the edge of our place.

Hope you're feeling more than slightly better, illness wise, today! :fl

:lau Right!

I'm with Al, I can't figure it out. Is the SS pure? I guess they carry some type of barring gene, but I'm not real sure on their genetics.

CINNAMON & SUGAR!! :drool

Ducks will FLATTEN anything you put down. I would suggest a combination of things. I have river rocks around the boat/pool (keeps most of the stuff out of the water), some straw on one end under a canopy, and they had some grass, but its pretty much gone and now flat bare ground. They range the whole yard most of the time, so I don't mess with their actual run too much.
Me too. :p The SS should be pure but who knows since she’s from a hatchery.

There’s also a solid black chick, we’ll i thought it was solid black anyway, it looks just like a black sexlink pullet, brown face and all.
