Thanks... it just sort of came to mind.

And it’s so much funnier coming from the kid who said it. You all know the kid I’m talking about, because you’ve all dealt with this kid somewhere along the line. Good, fun kid who just blurts out whatever comes to mind and is so comical when he does it, it’s hard to get after him.

Yeah, I have those kids myself. Unfortunately, they all learned at an early age that if Mom is on a rant, make her laugh. Rant over. A classic in our family was when sons 2 & 3 were in the den punching each other. I went to the room and yelled at them to knock it off. Youngest looks at me in all seriousness and says, “It all started when he hit me back!” I had to walk away...

Not yet and at the moment all the drakes are with the rest of the hens up here by the building...

Its just started raining here and i here thunder in the distance... and i just hung a load of laundry out an hour ago..

I'm tired. Trained dogs this AM, and just finished mowing the lawn. Generally I do half each day, but they are talking rain for the next 4 days.

A 'Whoop Daddy' of a thunder storm struck as I was grilling a steak for supper - so we ate it a bit rarer than normal. Pot cheese with noodles, green beans and a mozzarella/tomato/lettuce/balsamic vinaigrette salad completed the meal.
