Those fractures mark the edges of a refraction zone where the stone reflects yellow green and blue. Kind of like a bugs wing. Lighting has to be just right to showthem off

The back is so beautiful too! Its a shame part of it has to be hidden!
Lol. . I was just going to say I like the back as much as the front!

Multi quotes out again.

Diva, I like the way you think! :thumbsupYou're my kinda gal! :highfive:

Lisa, can I go to Orrs with you? That framed pic of Dirt is still in my car.

Sour, sorry about the run around with GD. I hope they can figure it out & fix it soon! :fl

Bobbi, :hugs The end of eras are always so hard! :hugs

WV, those memento's are so cool!!! DD3 has always been obsessed with buttons. Its an odd thing for a little kid to be into. Last year for her bday I gave her a big jar full of buttons. DH thought I'd lost my mind, but it was her favorite present.

Lisa, my grandpa had an old 410 too. I have no idea what happened to it (probably my brother has it, because he has all of my dads stuff.) The only thing of my dads my brother doesn't have is a walking stick with a silver duck head on it that I'd bought him years ago. Since my dad needed it to walk he obviously couldn't give it away. When he passed I asked my mother if it would be ok to take back. She was happy to let me have it especially since I'm the one who bought it, but the rest of the family had a fit when they saw it was gone. Too bad! A girl should be allowed to have ONE stinking thing of her dads (even if she has to buy it herself.)

When my sister died, she asked us not to take anything of hers because she wanted every single bit of it kept in storage for her young daughter to have when she grew up. Her ex-BIL lived in a big house with an empty basement & said he'd store her stuff there until the end of time if need be. As the oldest, she had a lot of pictures & nostalgic mementos of our childhood that we would've liked to have kept, but we respected her wishes. 3mo's after her death, ex-BIL met a woman, got married, & got rid of ALL my sisters stuff. He didn't bother to offer any of it to us, just dumped it. The new wife didn't want another womans stuff taking up space in 'her' house, plus, she had decided to banish ex-BIL's ex-BFF dog down in the basement & needed the room. Poor dog! I feel worse about the dog than I do about any of the other stuff... It never fails to amaze me the lengths some men will go to in order to get laid.
A girl can never have too many buttons! I have that gene too! I have no idea how many i have, but multiple jars and organizers full!

My dad used to come sauntering in the living room with only his boxers on.... Asking mom if she had washed his clothes.. When she would fuss at him for coming in almost buck nekkid he would pose like Arnold .... Only problem was he had lopover disease and he could only hold the pose a few seconds.
:gig

deb (lopover disease is when your belly lops over your belt buckle)
