But I didn't get any pictures of them there were too many people surrounding me:rolleyes:
Saw an albino alligator. That was pretty cool. And pink flamingos. :gigView attachment 1458253 and of course lots and lots of dead deer :lau
(Wonders of wildlife is a part of bass pro)

My first of many experiences at Bass Pro was at the one in Gurney IL, just north of Chicago. I was like a kid in a candy store on Christmas morning. I'd never seen so many mounts in one place, & the aquarium floored me! Still does. 99% of my business today is via internet; cheaper to pay shipping than spend the time & gas to drive the 45-50 miles one way.

:hugs Farm life ain't it a blast . Do you wash your hay too?:lau I been washing mine for two days :( My pretty clover is now pretty black .

:eek:poor little guy :hit

:fl Hope it's eased up some by now Deb .

:lau:lau:lau:lauI got to have me one of those :lau

:thumbsup nice fish !!!!!
A tip for all you farmer types:
If the weather's been hot & dry for a while, and your crops need rain bad, just lay down a field of hay; it'll rain before you get it baled & in the barn...guaranteed.

Beautiful pics! We took our GD to a zoo today, rode a little train thru the place, walked around and saw all the animals. They even had a barnyard group with donkeys, a few chickens, a couple llamas and some goats. Some exotics, ostriches, zebras, cheetahs, etc. nice small zoo, so not too over powering for a 4year old.

Sweet! :drool
We are trying a new lake tomorrow. Supposed to be some massive saugeye. Wish me luck!
We took the oldest GGD to the zoo in Racine a few years ago. Next time I'll just take the title to the house.

It might have been on the same visit that we went through the Fresh water fishing Hall of Farm. I highly recommend it, if only for the old outboards & reels.

:sick kinda like when you spray it with a preservative and bale it green? Something is always broke if it ain't it ain't hay season . :lau

They are late making hay here as it's been a really wet spring/early summer. Cutting partial fields and baling as soon as dry to try to minimize getting rained on. Good morning Pond Folk.

You got that part right! Tough way of life, but a good way.
