Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I did the same thing - all my CL'S are in with my Marans and a blue Marans boy (my only Marans that survived the big attack), so I can (hopefully) sex link the olive Eggers because of the barring on the CL hens. We shall see.

I did it the backwards way, so no sex-linkage, but my CL boys is so much nicer! That BCM boy was a turd.

I really like how is color turned out.

East Indies are miniatures. Barely bigger than call ducks.

Cauygas are a medium weight large fowl duck that became popular around Cayuga Lake, New York and so were given their name after the lake. Black east indies are a small bantam breed, about Call-sized, and were also created here in the US despite the name.

Both are black with gorgeous green sheen, both lay black eggs (that fade to gray over the laying season) and they are similar in build, but the east indies are of course much smaller :)

Thanks for all the info. :thumbsup They sound adorable!!! :love
Busy day here Pondites, so I'll see ya tomorrow... Do try to behave! ;)
