Yep.... back when we had a rainy season.... back in the sixties and seventies... One year we had 22 inches total for the year...

the year we had 22 inches was 2005

these are lindburg field totals... we normally count our rain between October and September

Back in Sixty seven we had snow here in Santee... enough to be able to see it and stick for about ten minutes.

Yeah, and a couple years earlier my buddy & I were running around on Christmas Day with our convertible tops down. Crazy weather around here.

You could switch to roaches and mice in the winter season.

I could probably scrape up a mouse or two but no idea where I would find a cockroach or would want to.
I'm pretty much afraid of anything with more limbs then I have...... yeah scared of spiders big time .....
