Howdy howdy...... We are at the American Legion Christmas party.... My wife just won a brownie making kit..... How appropriate...

Yep.. Id take a deap breath, look em in the eyes and get scary calm.. usually when the kids were little the next thing out of my mouth was "GO to your room!" They'd scatter.. even the ones who weren't in trouble fled..
