Hi Shadrach, I know we haven't been formally introduced, but I'd be interested to hear more symptoms your girl is experiencing. I'm definitely not the total chicken guru, but have had some interesting challenges with my birds over the years (some more 'interesting' than others, thanks birds). If you're interested in striking up a conversation, let me know.Young Tackle is a bit more mobile today. She's a long way from fit, but she stands and hobbles from A to B steadying herself with her wings. It's very hard to watch.
She's been calling for Cillin (her rooster) a lot more and he's been round and given her the imprint inspection, (head right beside Tackle's head and perfectly still for maybe 20 seconds).
Tackle has decided the best resting place and safest spot is under my feet underneath the computer desk. She sort of hobbles around under there with occasional ventures a couple of feet away and back. I had to stop her sister Mel from having a few bully pecks; they've never got on.
I think Gloria the vet is back tomorrow and hopefully I can get her to have a look at Tackle early evening.
