I'd be an overnight millionaireLook to be 'standard' fire place size. I would guess 1.5 to 2'.
I'm thinking of going into the 'Organic Firewood' business.

They are beautiful!View attachment 1633932 Here’s this weeks color bouquet of Cayuga eggs. DD3 cracked open all but the original black one to make banana bread yesterday. It’s interesting (& a little gross) that the chalaza is a smokey black color.
Is that normal? Shaw? Jane? Anybody? I assume it’s normal, but it made me squeamish & fished them out.Aren’t these pretty tho? I love the black & the pewter ones the best, but it looks like grey is what we’ll get the most.
Talk with each other about various subjects. What do u do in this thread?
I LOVE Ball Room Dancing... waltz is awesome.... But I used to know quite a few of the standard steps and some that are country as well. You could still learn one or the other..
Id LOVE to learn ball room dancing. Dh wanted us to take classes a few years ago but its expensive and schedules wouldn't allow for it.. but Im good with just our local lounge and band. They play good music and it's a good crowd.![]()
Best dancer I ever danced with was about three hundred pound aircraft controller... But he had ALL the girls lined up for their turn...Excellent. I'm pleased you had a good time. It's a shame about the classes. I got offered tuition from a friend of mine years ago. He used to go to all the local dance venues. He was a short tubby man who stomped around like a troll normally; get him on a dance floor and he was as graceful as a swan. He also got to meet an awful lot of women. There is always a shortage of men who can and will dance at these places.
first seasons eggs will always be darker.... just the same with the brown ones.View attachment 1633932 Here’s this weeks color bouquet of Cayuga eggs. Waltz, Polka, Shoddish, One step, Two step... Fox trot. I even can do the swing... but for the life of me I cant do the Jitterbug.
Many Country and western places have free dance lessons before the band starts. and often They will teach the ball room steps once a month.
Waltz Polka and Shoddish are the same step .... and I believe if I am not mistaken the two step and the fox trot are the same step...
deb Who hasnt danced in forty years
Last year I planted eleven of these canna lily corms, they were about this size with only one eye.

They went insane! Almost all of them (all but three) grew 15-20 stalks and got about 2 1/2 feet in diameter.
This is about average, there were some bigger ones. That’s my foot for size comparison. That boot is a size 13.

And here’s the wagon load I got from just digging 8 of them. I left the three smallest ones.
