Tip for the future. I do all my upside down cakes in my cast iron skillets. Never had an "avalanche". Tip #2- smother in ice cream. No one will care what it looks likeEpic Cake fail.

I wanted a pineapple upside down cake. I could not find my bunt cake pan I normally use. .
After looking everywhere I remember I left it at the school.
I didn't wanna bother going to get it.
So I look for something else.
I'm going through my cabinets like Goldy locks. . too big... Too small . . too rusty. .
I find my layer cake pans.
This might be awesome I think to myself.
So I mix up my brown sugar butter pineapple juice goo and put it in the bottom of two of the pans. Pineapple rings and maraschino cherries for the top layer. (Which I had to pull all the stems off of because that's what Jason bought )
All was going well. .got them cooked.
So you know how Usually you wanna go ahead and flip it on over before it's cool so it doesn't get all stuck to the bottom?
BAD IDEA!
The first two were pretty stuck but not horrible.
I was able to scrape it out without too much trouble.
Flipped the last one over on top. . Perfect.
Looks fabulous.
For about 30 seconds
Then a slow crack appeared running right down the center. That ended up splitting off in four directions. . .
LANDSLIDE!
There was no stopping it.
Oh well. At least it didn't go in the floor.
