Wow! I've heard of this "Best Buy" and that it's a real store. I'm beginning to think that there may actually be such a thing as too far out in the country. We moved to our land in 1996 and every since we've only went to the city for a couple weddings, too many funerals and my oncologist. No side trips unless absolutely necessary, except when we go to my onc we go right by a small town that actually has a tractor supply so that is a must stop at least once a year. Since he found out I can find just about anything online we don't even do those anymore. None of the above roadtrips involved an overnight stay except my week in the hospital (oncologist). We have done more than one 8 hr roundtrip (that's just the drive time not including funeral service etc.) straight there, take care of business and home. DH will only stop for food if it's a drive thru. Think about what only came into being (or became popular) in the last 25 yrs. My daughter still doesn't believe me that I've never been to a Starbucks.

Im probably going to get smacked for this by someone... but I think Starbucks is over rated...:oops:

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger; I'm older than you & I've never been to one, either. Nor do I ever plan to be. Wouldn't spend that kind of $ for coffee if I could afford it; not as long as I can make it myself.

So you guys all remember my cousin's awful boyfriend? The one who stole chicks from me, then killed them through neglect, among other things?

Apparently the other woman who got hired at the same time as me at this clinic is now dating him. I can't get away from him :barnie

I kind of want to warn her, but at the same time, it's not my place, and I don't want to make work awkward if she takes his side.
