Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

first they kill off my gut bacteria with radiation
I spent a year trying to get it back to normal
GI doc wanted to inspect my gut
Back to diarrhea...
Then constipation
then Diarrhea
Then Constipation
Finally getting it on track
I loose forty pounds
Back to the C word
Back to the D word
Get it back to almost normal
And BAM I am on a liquid diet for two weeks
My blood sugar Tanked on the first day
Drank a bunch of water and ate more than I should
Second day was OK
Third day I found out I was supposed to use Two scoops of powder
Wound up walking too much that day
That night Last night... my old cycle kicked me in the behind.... litterally
Today is better I did have half a cup of coffee Oh thank the gods... My head ache went away... I also had two aleve.... dont know why i didnt do that before
I am testing my glucose more often. All this tweaking of meds and food has me all messed up... fasting from overnight its down to 88 two hours after lunch 103 Lowest I have ever seen it... ever.

Today has been good but the minuet i try to sit down and write up the class yesterday... grandma trundles in and fills me in on all the things that are in the china Cabinet... and the people or non people who gave them to her and why doesn't she know their names anymore.

Its almost ninety in the shade outside... 84 inside.... Yep weve been using the AC...
Grandma keeps the house sealed up like a medicine bottle and complains that she gets cold with the doors open. So I have to run the AC.

@perchie.girl , would it be possible to get some sort of 'home help' aide to come in for several hours each day while you are preparing for this and for a period of time post operatively ? :hugs You have to take care of the caretaker - that would be YOU.
Yes... Mom will be doing this.... I just didnt get her to come over this time.

I hope you feel better Perchie! Its hard enough to take care of yourself while your sick let alone another person. :hugs

Feeling better got my blood sugar up to normal ranges... Peanut butter and apple.... did the trick.

The whole reason I wanted to do this was to get off Diabetis medication and blood pressure medication. As my blood sugar goes down with the very restricted diet I am going to have to test more often and write it down.... But the little test strip holder has a memory of about a thousand tests... along with the time.

So far now I have had Blood sugar drops on three out of four days. At times when I am doing more physical things... Walking and house work taking my walker in and out of vehicles. its big and heavy probably heavier than a standard wheelchair.

I am trying to put together the situations as ammo to get my Diabetes meds adjusted... Believe me they dont want me to pass out during the prescribed walks down the hall.

Oh and All of the bariatric patients get a Bariatric Moosie.... Stuffed moose desidned to hug around the middle to put pressure on your stommach when you walk... I cant wait to get my very own Moosie. Silly I know....

they are stuffed firm so that when YOu have to cough then it helps with the pain.
Apparently they arent into much of the way of pain meds.

When I had a Csection thirty years ago on MediCal... They sent us home the next day and siad... Walk... and use a pillow to support your stommach. It worked ....

I am sorry I am rambling on... I am scared spitless and you all are my only peeple to talk to.
