Yeah! 20 ducklings are a bunch!

I once had 2 muscovies brood together ...they hatched out 24, and they were first time moms.

They could NOT keep up with that many, so I sold a bunch fast... and left them maybe 4.

That fleet of 24 ducklings though! crazy.

I had 20 ducklings this summer... Luckily I was able to get rid of 16 of them... Kept four.

But yes... I did think it was odd i hadn't noticed I guess they are very comfy sweat pants.

Very comfy pants.

Two clutches..... One had eight the other had 13.... Rooster killed one....I killed rooster.
One of my Khakis has eight.
A Cayuga I have away and lives in the lake down the road... Had 15 the Drake killed one.
So I went and rescued them as the Drake was trying to kill the rest... By the time I got to then he killed a second one.
I paddled around the lae chasing a little blob of ducklings with a long handle smelt net (haven't had any smelt time in year anyways) so it wasn't getting used.
In the end I had 13 healthy ducklings four Khaki mutts......5 Mallard mixes.......4 Cayogas.
I sold all but four that I wanted.....I got $15 each not sure if that's a good price or not.

Hola.....

Hit the jackpot on Gills yesterday. Best day I've had on Gills, or anything else, for that matter, in years. Two of us caught close to 50, not counting throw-backs & juvenile Bass. Buddy accounted for most of them on pieces of crawler & later Gulp minnows, while I alternated between a small spinner & a Crappie jig tipped with Gulp waxworms.
