Rat pack rental
Thinking how nice it will be having a house with little ones. We dropped off grandaughter a birthday present friday. She said Papa I have 11 barbies and they are all the same .Different hair but the same doll.

She is so smart.Reading way above her grade .Oliver told us all about the dogs going through the house ,and running away.They went to that house and that house and way over there. Wish I could breing them out here .

DIL and the kids have basically been here for a month. There hasn’t been a dull moment around here, that’s for sure! That little boy we have here is a ray of sunshine, and his baby sister (7 months) has Grampa wrapped around her little finger. She absolutely lights up whenever she sees him.

How old is your granddaughter? She sounds like a fun kid!

the real cost is going to be to oil related small businesses. Many were wiped out in 82 and even more are operating in a leveraged situation now and the banks are going to be viewing their assets far differently now, rewriting loan contracts or denying them flat out. Small suppliers locked into higher priced per gal contracts, wild caters, etc. just won't survive. That's the immediate damage. Further out is what the Opec members come up with to counter the situation and the effect that does to the world markets and ultimately to us. Oil reaches far further than the gas pump. We have to remember that even many of the parts of those pumps are made from oil.

Morning Pond peeps
My new puter is supposed to arrive today. VERY nervous. It was shipped Fedex. The last thing we were delivered by Fedex arrived with a huge boot print on the outside and demolished contents on the inside. Not the first either beat up to totally destroyed package we've gotten that was "handled" them either. Only problem we've ever had with UPS is during mud season (aka the thaw) when our driveway can turn into a lake, they will occasionally leave our package with the neighbor and forget to tell us. That only happens when it's not our regular driver.

I am sitting in my chair watching the snow fall outside and picking ticks off the head of my puppy. I don't like Mother Nature very much anymore.

My brother has a Tesla - doesn't need gas but, sure likes to run up an electric bill charging it.

Around here deer ticks are most active when temps are close to freezing.
