Corn and soybeans for crops. In the garden and greenhouse - tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, peas, basil, cilantro, kale, onions, potatoes, lettuce, spinach, squash, cucumbers, zucchini, peppers and pumpkins. I think that’s it.

What kind of corn?

Have a friend... his dad is a farmer, he was driving back up to Alaska, and decided to take a couple of coolers full of his dad's fresh sweet corn. They stopped him at the Canadian border, he answered all of the questions the way you need to to get through quick, ya know, like "no fresh food".

But he must have looked shifty, because they looked through his stuff, and found the corn. They started to get mad, and he said "but that is grass, corn is in the grass family, and that is how I was thinking of it" or some pretend stupid remark to that effect.

Anyway, he didn't get fined or in trouble... but they took ALL of that corn!!!

Told the Princess I was not cooking tonight. She went out and got Jersey Mike's subs - good.

We have Subway here not Jersey mikes but love stopping there better than burger king or wendys

I wish I were as fit as you... stupidly took almost a week off of walking... did walk today... drag, drag, drag

'Al' I guess I am okay for my age, but for sure 'I am no longer 25.' Two friends had to leave the field today with near heat prostration, and they had been riding around in ATV's. We'll see what the next two days bring.

And now I have to CLEAN!!

Spouse was gone for 5 days, or whatever it was... with 3 kids.

It was wonderfully slothful here... only working kid (3) and motionless kid (1) were home... kid 1 did do a decent job of food and kitchen cleaning...

Kid 3 did one dump run...

But laundry was abandoned, my bedroom is trashed....

The bedroom already looks a bit better... after I post this I will try to finish.
