Good morning Pondites!

Heavy hot sticky this morning. We are NOT used to this up here!!!
But, we're still blessed because no hurricanes (prayers for those down there, glad you are safe at home AL) no wildfires (more prayers, hey Deb any in your neighborhood?) and all the riots are far far away and last but not least safe from the Covid in our little corner of the northwoods. We're still good here on our "island" in the woods. Sometimes it feels like we are living in the calm eye of the storm. I do miss the summer visits from assorted family (means more as we get older. For us and them) but DH is just saying "no" to any visits for now.
Boy it's a good thing DH and I still get along so well after this long in isolation since we are both legal to carry and we have a good stock of ammo!!!

My Dad got us into Square dancing growing up we were one that to punish had to miss it.. Kept me out of trouble lilly pad is still dry here

Kid 2 was actually bummed that the entire time that we were down there it was perfect sunny weather.

Warm heavy rain is a thing we just never get up here.

But at the same time... avoiding death and destruction is very nice.

So I too hope things calm down.

Stay WAY clear of Kenosha!!! It's getting very very ugly down there.

I know; was just talking to my DIL. She's a teacher there, and a lot of her kids live in the targeted neighborhoods.
