We had painting that we needed to do... but free time and good weather did not coincide.

And now... not enough warmth.

Hello my Pond Peeps! Been working the last couple of days on getting the boat out of the ground, and replaced with a 300 gallon cattle trough. I’m thinking now the rubber pond liner would have maybe been better, but I got a heck of a deal on the trough and hubby thought it would be easier, so that’s what we went with.
We got it about half finished yesterday, and he finished up today by adding 3.5 tons of rock to fill the empty space. They enjoyed digging in the fresh turned dirt today, but the rock will keep the pool cleaner, and will drain better, so that’s what we went with.
So here are tons of pic, for those interested to see what we did.
