The trough looked huge... until the photo of the trough in the much larger boat hole...Hello my Pond Peeps! Been working the last couple of days on getting the boat out of the ground, and replaced with a 300 gallon cattle trough. I’m thinking now the rubber pond liner would have maybe been better, but I got a heck of a deal on the trough and hubby thought it would be easier, so that’s what we went with.
We got it about half finished yesterday, and he finished up today by adding 3.5 tons of rock to fill the empty space. They enjoyed digging in the fresh turned dirt today, but the rock will keep the pool cleaner, and will drain better, so that’s what we went with.
