There's a gas cloud over the Pond. 'Al' ?

There are no wounds as painful as those self inflected. Funny I should turn on the pond .You know I take magnesium for my leg cramps .One of the side effects with large doses in gas .Why in the world I would be thinking about gas I haven't a clue old guy with old mind .But anyhow I was thinking about the age of our president and president elect. Also the avarage age of both the house and the senate.I have come to the conclusion that,if properly captured the gas that comes from just those branches of our government .Well that. could power a good size city. And then I thought I had figured out that I single handed ,had figured out how lower the use of fossil fuels.But then I again thought about the avarage age of the three branches of our government.Well I realized we would still be dependent on fossil fuel .So I wasted good think time for nothing .Is it high tide on the pond? I am never sure .

That would be bliss....

I finally finished, after THREE hours of going through this kid's medical file... trying to organize and type up a short synopsis.

Kid has had nebulous issues for forever... well... starting about age 2. But, he was super ADHD at birth.


He has had CAT scans, xrays, ultrasounds, biopsies, pictures of his insides with an endoscopy, barium swallow test, stool test, almost every blood test ever heard of.. liver panels, CBC, tested for all heavy metals, lots of diseases and parasites and more.... Regular alergy tests, the patches on the back allergy tests, full fancy psychological exam...


Anyway... the thyroid can't have been the cause of those early issues, since luckily it was tested 2 years back, and perfect then.

But.... maybe now that he is older, better at communicating, we can do one last huge round of everything... and finally figure out what is going on with him.

Prayers of course, Al. I understand. I was having odd things no one had an answer for for a long time, I literally was close to death (didn't know it, just knew something was REALLY wrong) before I literally stumbled across a doctor (long story, and of course a God thing) Another doctor scheduled (what we thought was just) an appointment with him and before he even saw me in person I was sent off for a cat scan, blood work, lunch, then he met me, said "Hi" did a bone marrow biopsy, gave us the Leukemia dxd, put me on a gurney, had me wave to DH and shipped me off to ICU (good thing my hubby's daughter the nurse just happened to have met us for lunch because I found out later my poor hubby literally dropped to his knees in the parking lot) I shared all of that to say that I was actually relieved in a crazy way to final have an answer and validation that it wasn't all just in my head. Now my enemy had a name, an identity, now I could fight. knowing what my DH went thru was in truth far more emotionally difficult for him than it was for me, I can sort of understand how you must feel. But now you both can put a name and a face to the demon and you can fight together. Trust me, from what you have shared in the past about your wonderful son, I'm sure he will do far better now, he's clearly a fighter and now that he knows his enemy has a name (and it's not "just him") and he doesn't have to fight alone so you'll all be just fine, I know it.

BTW- whomever said that their cats don't fart, count yourself as very fortunate. Mine can easily clear a room and then stare at you like it's your fault or, I believe it to be his favorite, wait until we're asleep, stand between our pillows, and,,,,,which immediately wakes me up and has me stumbling in the dark looking for the non existent "dog" pile desperately trying to locate it before DH gets up and steps in it which would detrimental to the health of both the pup and myself. I finally become conscious enough to realize what actually occurred at which time the kitty will come sauntering past me, clearly quite proud of himself.
