So so sorry. Praying for family. I can honestly say I know what they're going through having just lost my husband 4 months ago. It's so hard. Prayers for them.

Has anyone ever had a light bulb explode leaving the filaments and central glass part intact and still lighting? It happened in the cellar - paranormal event ?

I have that happened! Usually while under a car when liquid drops on it.

The sell ruggedized bulbs for outdoor use so that does not happen.
