Bat...Well I guess it's Halloween in my workshop outbuilding!
Half is a garage, half is a workshop. I found today, in the garage part, a dead bat. And THEN less than a minute later I also found a dead rat.
I'd like to know how the heck the bat got in there.
Please make sure you send her in the right direction!I suppose it’s only right that I send her back. View attachment 2856581
I never said I was afraid of them. I just really, really don’t like them! When I was a kid, my older cousin would catch a spider and stick it in my face just to get a reaction (it worked). After we grew up and got married, she and her husband came out to visit our farm. We went out to the barn in the evening so I could show her my baby calves. In the corners of the door were some great big barn spiders. You know the ones - about the size of a baseball. Anyway, she took one look at those spiders, put her hood up, made sure her hair was all covered and tucked her pant legs into her socks. I asked her what in the world she was doing since she wasn’t afraid of spiders. She said, “When we were kids, spiders were the only thing that you were afraid of, so I decided it was worth it not to be!”I’m so glad I’m not afraid of spiders. Those big ones are pretty common.
