Blooie is back!

I have missed her greatly... and worried a bunch too!

Seriously! I wasn’t around her a lot towards the end before she disappeared, but I still name her specifically in my prayers. I’m soooo glad she’s okay.

See, I only disappear for the warm attention I get when I come back! Bull chick, thank you for the prayers….they always help! And Alaskan, you should know by now that I‘m a tough old woman and not much keeps me down for long! Cynthia,

@Blooie - it’s good to see you back!

I hope everyone is having a good day. I am well rested after having slept all day yesterday and last night after an angiogram (got good results) yesterday morning. Still a little tired, but the meds have mostly worn off.

I’m enjoying my last days of Christmas break. Back to work on Monday.

So, we never did catch the varmint that killed my chickens. I finally gave up and sprung the foot hold traps. I had left the bait, and hadn’t cleaned up the carcasses yet. I went in that coop the other day to put the windows in, thinking our feral cat could use the coop for his winter housing. The two carcasses and the bait I had left in the coop are gone! There have been no tracks in the snow, so I think it tunneled under the ramp by the pop door. We are setting a freshly baited live trap this afternoon, and spring will bring some modifications to the coop and run.

We decided to get new traps since DH can’t remember where he put the one after we got the skunk out of my mom’s barn. We got the two-fer deal - large and small one. They’re not terribly heavy, but we decided they’ll meet our needs as long as *someone* doesn’t blow a hole in it. I assured him that won’t happen again. So now that I have two traps, one will be set outside the coop, and one inside. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Hey Pond good to see everyone .. Feeling better had a shower changed the attitude all good..
We did get 4 more inches last night. Foot and half has fallen here. This is a snow event for the books.

Alaskan, as soon as I get my computer set up. Right now it’s lost….it’s either in storage unit 3, storage unit 5, the garage, the hot tub room, or Tam’s or Kenny’s houses. I dunno where it is. <sigh>
